The Tutbury Practice based at The Health Centre in Monk Street, Tutbury, looks after the primary health care needs of residents in Tutbury, Hatton and surrounding villages.
Our clinical team consists of 4 doctors, 3 practice nurses and a phlebotomist.
On the non-clinical side our team consists of a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Data Quality/IT Manager, Medical Secretary, Senior Receptionist, 5 Receptionist and a Clerical Assistant.
If you live in our practice area (please refer to the map on the “Contact us” page) and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms that are available from reception.
The surgery has disabled facilities which include:
- Car parking
- Toilet
- Wheelchair, if required
The face of general practice / primary care has undergone significant change over the past ten years, and continues to be set for a future of ongoing change and development. On this background it can be easy to lose track of why we are here and what our fundamental values are that underpin our team.
The Tutbury Practice attempts to combine the traditional values of a family practice with a modern multidisciplinary approach to meet the evolving changes in Primary Care. These developments in the role of the GP and the wider team have inevitably had an effect upon the relationship between doctors, staff and patients.
The practice is committed to providing the highest quality of care for all of our patients in a safe, timely and equitable manner. We recognise the value of using the skills of the whole practice team to most effectively meet the needs of our patients. We believe in respect towards our patients and expect to receive the same respect in return. We will do all we can to empower our patients to make their own decisions and choices about their health care.
