Ordering through the surgery
We are still accepting paper prescription requests at the surgery. However we ask that you put these through our letterbox to avoid contact in the surgery.
We are NOT under any circumstances taking prescription requests over the phone. We kindly ask that you do NOT call the surgery to order prescriptions.
We are asking patients to allow us 2 days to process the prescription request and the chemist a further 2 days to generate the items.
Ordering online
We are currently not accepting applications for online access however, if you already have this facility enabled please keep using it to order medication.
If you wish you can download the NHS app to a smart phone or tablet to order medication. No input will be required from the practice you simply upload photo ID such as a passport or driving licence.
Ordering through the chemist
Dean and Smedley – Tutbury
Dean and Smedley in Tutbury are accepting prescription requests over the telephone. They are texting patients when an order is ready to be collected after 4 days providing they have your correct telephone number. If you would like an order delivering as you are of high COVID-19 risk please let them know at least a week before and a fee may occur. We ask that you leave the delivery slots for patients who are of high risk.
Goodlife Pharmacy – Hatton
Goodlife Pharmacy are accepting prescription requests via the telephone. They ask you allow the surgery 2 days to generate the prescription and a further 2 days to process the order. The chemist will inform you via text when your prescription is ready providing they have a correct mobile number. Goodlife are offering delivery of prescriptions for patients who are high COVID – 19 risk. We do ask that if you are able to collect your medication then you should do so to leave the delivery slots available to people of high risk.
