We operate “Advanced Access” which offers you an appointment with a GP within 48 hours, though you may have to wait longer if you wish to see a particular GP. Pre bookable appointments are available with all GP’s up to two weeks in advance.

Routine “On The Day” appointments are available every day and these should be for more urgent issues. If you call the surgery between 8am and 11am any morning, Monday to Friday, we will offer you an appointment that morning, subject to extremely high demand. We also release a limited number of appointments at 1pm for our afternoon surgeries. If you have a non urgent issue please try and pre book with a doctor or nurse at a later time and leave the ‘on the day’ appointments for those patients whose condition needs to be seen more urgently. We are aware that during times of high demand, pre bookable appointments may not always be available and so we do understand if you have to use an ‘on the day’ appointment for your issue.

Our nurses can also treat a wide range of common conditions.

You can help us by:

• Being on time for your appointment
• Letting us know if you need to cancel. Please give 24 hours notice if possible.
• Calling for a home visit or urgent appointments before 10am.
• Using the service appropriately, a pharmacist may be able to help with minor ailments for example.
